I don't know if you can go to a specific page in Text Edit. What I do is
use the VO-f command to search for text. So, when I close a document, I
remember a line from where I left off and I search for that line to take me
back to it. It's worked for me all along. You can always mark the spot with
something like, *** or something like that to find it again.
