now now folks, let's let that go shall we, thank you. I am sorry for the typo, 
only just realised that but I have noticed that on a few occasions, when I have 
posted, there's one user who always seems to lack understanding of what I'm 
saying. perhaps the yorkshire english dialect isn't working well enough lol.

as explained, a simple copy paste job means having two target windows open. the 
source window (documents as an example) or user, then the destination drive 
(external HDD) so that you can ensure the data is going to the destination 
required. simple as that.
