Yes,

$25.00 per year and you buy it not install it.

Turning on iTunes sharing on your computers instantly makes the libraries 
available to one another and this does not require match.

All you do to download music to your computer is open iTunes and instruct it to 
do thus.  Someone who knows how match works can help with this better than I 
but I believe that your songs have to be on the computer to start with and all 
the conversion and stuff happens automatically as soon as you hit them with 
plastic.

Once your year is up, if you choose not to continue, everything on your 
computer stays there but match will no longer operate.  All the match operation 
takes place in the cloud.
