[mac4theblind] Re: iTunes wi-fi not properly working

No, the idea is that it syncs to your library when it’s attached to power.  
Personally, I have seen this work both with and with out power but power is 
generally required for normal operation.  
Attach your phone via cable, find it in the sources, insure that sync over WiFi 
is set and if not set it by clicking the check box, you might unclick and 
recheck if you find it already in place.  Then sync, once you sync it should 
reattach every time you plug in to AC power.
