All,
I'm running 3 devices with ios 8.1 and they are all updating as I write this.
You read correctly, the version I was testing is not the latest.
It's taking a huge amount of time to update and my ipod touch 5 is toast since
the message that it was restarting was displayed 10 minutes ago.
It is surprising that this version is not the same as what I have or that I had
no mention that it was available for testing.
More is coming.
the second device has just gone off line it takes about 20 minutes to download
this thing. the size of a update will also differ from device to device.
