No he just doesn’t know what he’s talking about. You won’t get your machine in
to an irrecoverable position.
It might not work but you can recover from it. My objection is the use of the
word brick, that’s just hyperbole.
It’s not like blowing the fuse on a phone or something permanent. To me brick
means permanent damage which isn’t the case here. Maybe it’s a disagreement in
the definition of bricked, that’s entirely possible.
