a simple way to resolve this method is to change the wallpaper to something very dark as a contrast perspective. we need to raise this with apple developer team support. all I can say is Jonathan Ive isn't exactly bright in the case of this UI design change when it comes to supporting users with sight impairments. why doesn't that surprise me until it affects him.
