Scott, this eMail makes more sense than you probably realise.

Panasonic Australia recently re-released those turntables again – with a little 
updating – so the joy of owning one of these beasts can once again be in the 
reach of the general public.

How to get started with vinyl records?  Get yourself some Techniques SL-1200 
turntables and a good DJ cartage and go for it, that’s how you do it.:). Also 
get a nice Numark mixer so you can crossfade etc and get your scratch on.  Then 
replace it all with digital equipment once you learn so you don’t have to work 
in the 1800s.;)
