In the past there were messages about the mail busy issue with the Mac Mini if
a screen was not present. Now, it appears the same problem occurs with iTunes.
If you do not have a screen hooked up, and you try to do something and iTunes,
all you hear is iTunes busy! There was a piece that my friend Marvella got to
fix the problem with the mail issue. This does not work for the iTunes issue.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so, is there a fix for it other than
buying a screen? Thank you in advance for your help.

Yes there is, I just did it. Go to mail, then preferences. Go to the
general tab, and find mail sound. Go all the way to the bottom where it
says add custom sounds. A dialog will pop up, vo spacebar on add, select
the one you want, and then vo spacebar on done. It will take about 5
seconds, but the sound will show up there. ON another note, I chose a sound
that was a ring tone, and the mail app excepted it with no issues.

Hello. I have the ringtone, you've got mail. It is actually in my iTunes
ringtones. I was able to use it with El Capitan. However, in Sierra, there
is no option for a custom ringtone. Anyone have any idea how I can get it
back on my email notification? Thanks.

What format do the files you want to add to your sounds folder so they
can show up in email do the files need to be?
