This message is for central Massachusetts only, from our partners at ACS central Mass. Other regions, please check with your local ACS region for information on how to enter work in the CCED Illustrated Poem Contest. Each year, Chemists Celebrate Earth Day (CCED) is observed on April 22. This year's unifying theme is "The Wonders of Water". Information on the poem contest can be found in the Poem Contest Flyer and the contest Entry Form. Please send them out to schools in your area and to parents who have school-aged children. Schools don't need to be involved - parents can submit the entries on behalf of their children. Deadline for entries is Tuesday, April 15th by 4 pm. All queries regarding the contest should be sent directly to Dr. Mathangi Krishnamurthy at mkrishn1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Forms can be found at: Http://central-mass.sites.acs.org/ Bobbie Silber Lamont Groton School Science Dept NEACT Publicity Officer * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To post a message to the NEACT list, send an email to neact@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe, send an email message to neact-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with unsubscribe [without the quotes] in the subject field.
