             "Caveats for Expert Witnesses and Some Examples"

                                 Abstract

Dr. Vassallo will share some of her experiences as Director of Clinical 
Research at Astra Pharmaceutical Products and as an expert witness in the 
field of Local Anesthetics, including highlights from some of the cases in 
which she testified. 

(Prof. Vassallo has a BS Degree in Biology, an MS in Pharmacology, a PhD 
in Physiology, and an MBA) 

DRIVING TO WPI...

From the east:  Take MA Turnpike (I-90) to Exit 11A (I-495).  Proceed
north to Rte. 290, then west into Worcester.  Take Exit 18 (Lincoln Sq.,
Rte. 9), turn right at the end of ramp, then an immediate right before
next traffic light.  At next light, proceed straight through, bearing to
the right on Salisbury Street.  At the WPI sign, turn left onto Boynton
St., then right onto Institute Road., then right onto Private Way (West
St.).  Visitor parking is on the left after the footbridge.

From the north:  Take I-495 south to I-290.  Follow directions as from
east.

From the south and west:  Take MA Turnpike (I-90) to Exit 10 (Auburn).
Proceed east on Rte. 290 into Worcester.  Take Exit 17 (Lincoln Sq., Rte.
9), turn left at end of ramp., follow Rte. 9 west through Lincoln Sq.,
straight onto Highland St., then right at the light onto West St.
Visitor parking is on the left after the footbridge.

This colloquium is being held in Salisbury Labs, Room 115, also known as
Kinnicutt Hall on the campus of Worcester Polytechnic Institute in
Worcester, Massachusetts.

Walk out the parking lot entrance and turn left on the brick walk-way.
Salisbury Labs is the second building on the right.
