Hello, everyone. The Winsor School in Boston is currently looking for a one-year, part-time middle school teacher beginning in Fall, 2008. Please feel free to email me directly (dlabieniec@xxxxxxxxxx) if you have any interest or questions. This is a great opportunity for a recently retired teacher who misses being in the classroom or someone who is looking to supplement their current situation.

Middle School Science Teacher

The Winsor School is currently seeking a part time middle school science teacher for the fall of 2008. The position involves teaching one section of science to 6th or 7th grade (1/4 time). Courses meet four 40-minute periods per week. Strong candidates will have a degree in a field of science, at least two or three years teaching experience at the middle school level and a dedication to that particular age group.

A commitment to diversity work and an interest in using a variety of pedagogical approaches in the classroom are essential. The ability to use technology effectively in the teaching and learning process is strongly encouraged.

Please send a letter of interest, resume, recommendations, and references to: Lauren Conway-Russell, Asst. to Head of Upper School, The Winsor School, Pilgrim Road, Boston, MA 02215 or email: lconway-russell@xxxxxxxxxx
