Subject: STEM Ed Announcement: DOE Chem and Physics Prof Devel Institutes

DOE funded science content institutes:

One seat left in "Lab Based Chemistry" for teachers in grades 6-9 and HS
sped support personnel.

Two seats left in "Lab Based Physics" for teachers in grades 7-12 and HS
sped support personnel.

"Laboratory Based Chemistry Content" for teachers in grades 6-9 and HS
sped support staff.
     Summer Dates:  8-Days; July 8-11 and July 14-17.
     Times: 8:30AM to 3:30PM
     Host Location: Chelsea High School (right off of Rt.1).
     PDPs:  67.5 PDPs for full participation in summer program and 2-day
follow up program.
     Credit:  (Optional) total cost $150 for 3 grad credits from Endicott
College (awarded end of summer program).

"Laboratory Based Physics Content" for teachers in grades 7-12 and HS sped
support staff.
     Summer Dates:  8-Days; July 22-25 and July 28-31.
     Times: 8:30AM to 3:30PM
     Host Location: UMASS Lowell University, Olney Hall.
     PDPs:  67.5 PDPs for full participation in summer program and 2-day
follow up program.
     Credit:  (Optional) total cost $150 for 3 grad credits from Endicott
College (awarded end of summer program).

No cost to participate. Go home with over $200 dollars worth of
instructional supplies.
