MTEL Prep (09) for Secondary Teachers/Mathematics Course Thursdays, 3:30 ñ 5:10 p.m. September 4, 2008 - December 12, 2008 Western New England College Course if offered for PDPs or Undergraduate Credit Audience: For those who want to prepare and learn the mathematical requirements needed to pass the MTEL (09) and teach Secondary Education in Mathematics Objectives You will learn the basic principles and concepts important for teaching secondary school mathematics in the following areas: i. Number and operations ii. Functions and algebra iii. Geometry and measurement iv.
