HI Jerusha, Hey the pictures show! Great! Thank you! I have scheduled this job for every day this week, and finally today have tried to do it, BUT PROBLEM: My Dreamweaver will NOT boot with my new computer. I have been on the Adobe/Macromedia website for over an hour, and involved in a frustrating live chat with one of their reps, but only got referred to their website. He told me it would cost $499 to get the package we now have?even on an update basis, which is usually much cheaper than initial purchase. [We paid $200 for the full-package update a few years ago.] He says that is the cheapest option. I asked about ³contributors² since the new full package includes something by that name [even though I don¹t really know what it is ]. He said the license allows for the package to be installed on two computers. [That might be two owned by me, rather than one owned by Leigh or Lorraine...I¹ll have to find out.] It looks to me like NEACT should qualify under their non-profit program, but they also sound pretty fussy, and specifically say that hospitals, research facilities, etc. are non-qualifying non-profits. They are even uptight about students using a student edition when they are no longer students. I bot the one I have from the computer bookstore guy at Keene State, but he is long gone, and the last time I went in there for help buying a computer they basically told me they do not deal with Apple at all. Even on a PC I bot for Terry, they did not have a very good price, so I bot it elsewhere. Adobe does not list the KSC bookstore as an a authorized reseller, though they do list Antioch New England, which is also in Keene. My suggestion at this time is for me to buy the most basic Dreamweaver that will work, so I can get the updates done. I hope I can do that for $199, vs. the $399 list price. Most of all, I hope I can do it online. The chat guy said that we could at a later time upgrade to the full package we now have. The full package we have includes Fireworks, for graphics. That is used I think for the navigation sidebars on our site, though I never could get it to do what I wanted, and had no resource person to help with problems. Ryan, who hosts our site, did try to help, but just said that what I had told him I did should have worked. The package we now have also includes Flash, which is for animation, extension manager, whatever that is/does, and Freehand, which is also for graphics I believe. Again, I never used most of those, because I never could make the time to bull my way through them. Our site is very simple anyway, and Dreamweaver has worked for what I have needed. So that¹s where we¹re at. I shall continue to pursue this, but do want to know what you would like to do, and seek your authorization for at least the minimal purchase.
