Hope your summer break has been relaxing and enjoyable. I would like to remind
you of the following:
1. The deadline for registration for the 2015 NEACT Summer
Mini-Conference to be held at Clark University in Worcester, MA on August 10th
is Tuesday, July 21. Please register by this date to avoid the late
registration fee and also to help us plan for the meeting. Visit:

registration form on the last page of the attached Conference Program Brochure.
We have an exciting line-up of speakers and workshops. Please attend and make
this mini-conference a success.
2. American Chemical Society (ACS) national meeting will be held in
Boston convention center from Sunday, August 16 - Thursday, August 20, 2015.
The Division of Chemical Education sponsors a High Chemistry Program on Sunday
and there are many other sessions on Monday -Thursday that would be attractive
to chemistry educators at the college and well as HS level. The registration
fee for pre-college teachers is set at a reduced rate of $100 (ACS members or
non-members) while those who teach primarily in college would have to pay $470
(ACS member rate). Please visit:

in attending and registering for the meeting. As someone who has attended many
ACS national meetings, I recommend this highly.
