Looking good, inspiring me to get back to the workshop. As for your 1.5mm
thick square tubing, I think you'll find that it will be just fine. Looking at
it, it looks like 40 x 40mm. I have used this a lot with various recumbents,
it's strong enough without adding too much weight, if you cap the ends (hard
not to in this case) then it will be stiff enough I think you'll find.
