Welding (MAG) is perfect for rapid development with the need of corrections during the building process. I love it, but the result is often heavier and less beautiful than brazing which is more like an art to me. Also brazing needs very precise prefabrication of the frame parts. Of course there are artistic welders too (mostly TIG people) ...
