Hello, I agree with Torben written about the bushing topic >I think it would work, as rear forks often have this solution. The >turning >force at the link is strong, so the steering would not be (very) affected. >On a DF bike the steering must be very smooth (but then again, My >daughters >first bike has nylon bushings at the headset). my third python I plan to build with bronse bushings. my idea is to use bronse screws screwed in steel holes (understandable?) one on the top and one on the bottom, after unscrewing them, the python can be separated. And when the bronse screws get thinner they can be simply changed by new ones. Any reponse on that? I also would like the steering not to go so smoothly and easy, because the leverarm for steering (the feet) is very long. I just came back from my evening training tour. 26 km are done and ist is just wonderful. I am not going faster than 15 km/h. my green python stayes straigt even when the feet get off the pedals, with the first prototype it had been the opposite. It is a nice feeling laying in my beach-chair riding through the fields, the hands hanging down, but no time for dreaming, the python still is the master. ============================================================ This is the Python Mailinglist at freelists.org Listmaster: Juergen Mages jmages@xxxxxx ============================================================
