I like the PC2 pivot, I had always envisioned car parts :-)

3 new pics are up of my progress on the PC2. I got a little further tonight in the construction than the pictures indicate at present. The rubber suspension was indeed too soft due to the long leverage I gave the rear wheel. It squashed the rubber quite easily :) Not to worry, I replaced the stopper with a section of strong spring, and will use the stopper again on the back of the seat to see if it works better there. The sliding backbone is built and the tail section is installed. The pivot angle is right on the money, there is about 50mm of ground clearance, and the minimum wheelbase is 42" (107cm) with the maximum being somewhere around the 50"(127cm) mark, maybe a little longer. Tomorrow I'll finish up the seat, and get the seat support installed - that will at least make it look like a python then. For the time being, I'm making some robust crash bars and no gears, just a rear brake. While in research mode, no sense complicating things with shifting. I'll talk to Marcel and see if he can whip up another small fender like on his and that will save the legs. I'll also see if I can post the finished pictures of his python as well.
If you want Jurgen, you can use this picture as the "final": http://bikes.jkcc.com/25hz_python1.jpg
