Hi Tiha Thanks for your message. The issue is that scar tissue in the locking stitches in the groin has tightened and pulls when I ride. The pulling is worse when I am in a recumbent position than when I am riding upright, and my doctors reckon that after 18 months its probably as good as it is going to get. It's still better than before I had the operation, but they don't think they can justify any more surgical procedure. I have tried all sorts of physiotherapy and regular Pilates classes, but it just isn't easing. Perhaps in a couple of years I may get back to it, but for now I'll make do with an upright.
