Hi Juergen,
There is no triangle in the front part of the back part (uhhmm I mean
the part just behind the pivot). It is just a parellellogram. Doesn't
this mean that the weight of your body is not translated into push/pull
on the tubes, but instead causes a bending force?
I am also thinking about using thin tubes (I am like you not so
interested in a feder at the back ---hoping to save weight), but I do
worry about not having an extra tube there in that part.
