Hello list, I'm almost there with the new Arch image. Had a small problem when I realised that loading a pulseaudio server when the user logs in would mean the log-in screen was silent. This is solved by going back to the default copy of espeak, which uses portaudio if there is no pulseaudio server running, and pulseaudio if there is. This means that at the log in screen, there could conceivably be some stuttering, but as the utterances there are short it will probably not happen. And as soon as the user logs in and starts the pulseaudio server the stuttering problem goes away. I have written a script which takes a normal standard image from the Pi Foundation and does everything that is needed to transform it into an Accessible Arch, except install the new kernel and/or modules.
