Bryan,
I personally like Ubuntu Mate 15.10.
The only trouble I have found with it is that there seems to be no way with
the keyboard to find WIFI hotspots.
I have to go to the top panel and to Internet and Networking, and select
add, and then WIFI, and type in the SSID and password, and hope that I got
the security type correct for the hotspot.

Subject: [raspberry-vi] Decision on Linux
Hey group I know this is a bit off topic for this specific list but since I
feel like we all interact well I figured I could throw this out there for a
quick opinion.
I am a Unix user on my Mac and use Linux all the time in my AWS EC2
instances and on my PI but I have not had a destro of Linux on my machine in
quite a while. I was wondering what destro you all use currently on your
personal machines? I have not actually broke down and purchased Parallels
but I do have a free version currently to run a VM. I would like to run the
Kali destro I have to do pen testing with but last I tried that version it
was not super compatible with Orca. Maybe this has changed but it was a pain
last time I tried. I also am well versed in Red Hat, Ubuntu/Debian, and bash
in general so my question is which Ubuntu destro would you recommend since
there are so many options? Ubuntu Mate, Jesse, Debian, Kali, Red Hat???
Again I know this is a bit off topic I value each of your opinions on this
list by now. Thanks for your feedback.
