Hi all,
I have just bought the raspberry pi 3. I wanted to follow the guide at
http://www.raspberryvi.org/stories/raspbian-lite-mate.html
and downloaded the latest version of RASPBIAN JESSIE LITE. Oh horror, SSH is
disabled.
I checked the main raspbian installer and from reading the release notes see
that the problem is the same. I see 2 possible workarounds.
1. Use a Serial cable. This option is out because I will have to buy such a
cable online and it will take time to reach me.
2. I have Ubuntu running in a vmware virtual machine so can probably mount the
SD card and edit the boot image to enable SSH. If this is the best way to handle
this situation, then could someone give me instructions please? I think I can
mount the SD card but then what do I edit?
I am open to other options.
