With a friends help, I seem to have my USB Audio recognized to the point of
giving me what sounds like static and is the default. I had no alsa-base.conf
and ended up editing alsa.conf.
I am now trying to follow:

<http://www.raspberryvi.org/stories/raspbian-lite-mate.html>
However, I do not seem to have /modprobe.d
in the /Lib/ directory, or /modules directory in /etc/. Should I just forget
the subdirectories in/Lib/ and /ETC?
