Cool.
Have honestly, primarily used this utility when connecting to actual
webservers, but, it's also useful with the pi, partly since it also lets
you edit text files remotely, etc., but anyway. - and, since windows 7,
network sharing across LAN has just irritated me, most of the time...<smile>
Stay well

Hi Jacob,
Thanks for the link, I actually managed to get it sorted , it was a hidden
file on windows, so changed the view to show hidden files and then managed
to access the PI and drop all the files onto the PI. Thanks for the link
though, I'll keep it to hand in case I come across a different PC/operating
system where I can't access it just through file explorer
Thanks again.
Paul

windows
If I connect to the pi, from my win 10 machine, using a utility called
winSCP, using ssh protocol, and same username/password, it sort of
offers remote file browsing, including allowing you to copy files back
and forth.

Hi,cable
So I'm wanting to connect to my PI from my windows 10 machine, I've put
retro PI onto the raspberry PI 3b and connected this via an Ethernet
to my router. I was then hoping to be able to drop files/roms onto the PIPI
from my windows machine, but when I bring up file explorer I can't see my
listed as a network or drive. Should it show up in windows file exploreror
do I need some special program on windows to be able to see the PI andFoundation.
then drop files into it?
Sorry if the answer is really obvious , but I'm really new to using the PI
Many thanks in advance for any help
Paul
