If it is a model 3 it is at the opposite end from the usb ports. It is a
tiny slot under the edge about in the center. The micro usb power port will
be on your right if the pi is face up.
The tiny angle corner of the micro sd card should be on the right and go in
first.

From what I understand after reading the hardware description of the
Raspberry Pi at the link

l-description-of-a-raspberry-pi, the SD card slot is on the opposite side of
the USB ports. However, I can't find anywhere to slide my SD card into.
Did I misunderstand? I'm not good with compass directions.
