I have installed the current image and got Orca running and when booting to
command line emacspeak works. So they both speak fine.
Espeak also speaks when I use it at the command line on its own.
If I check the processes running. Speakup and espeakup are running as
well. But for some reason it is not talking. Has anyone got the recent
rasbion version of espeakup talking without Xwin of course. I just want it
at the command line. I can't seem to figure out what is missing.
Everything is running fine. I know in the past Speakup had to be in the
first 4 terminals but I am in the first terminal and using it on the
raspberry 400 so I know it should be working. I have no problem setting
this stuff normally up on Linux so I am baffled and can't figure out what is
missing.
