Hello Les. On the 'Getting Started' page there is a clockwise tour of the board. I can make it more detailed if you think it needs it. The connector next to the 3.5mm audio jack is an RCA (called phono here in the UK) socket carrying composite video. I was thinking about a hardware or products to use type page so your advice about cheap leads would go there I guess.
