Jason, this is not really an answer, but some observations. I know when I plugged an hdmi cable into the pi, it rerouted audio away from analog output to hdmi output. I've read about redirecting audio output using alsa, but I never got it working. I even found code to detect an audio sound card and reroute audio based on its presence or absence. I will follow your progress with interest. Rill On Wed, Apr 09, 2014 at 08:50:00AM -0400, Jason Fayre wrote: > Hi, > I'm setting up my Pi as a combination airplay and upnp receiver.
