I don't know about the original Pi 0, but I own the Pi 0 w, and it
does not have a 3.5 mm audio jack. Connecting the Pi 0 w to an audio
device would have to be done via bluetooth, USB, or the Pi )0 w's
microHDMI port., none of which I have any experience with. And since
the Pi 0w lacks ethernet, you would need to ssh into it over Wi-Fi,
which again, I have no experience with.
I believe the addition of bluetooth and Wi-Fi is the main upgrade the
Pi0w has to the original Pi0, and given their lack of more traditional
connectivity options, I'm thinking the Pi0 might be nearly impossible
to set-up without sighted assistance, and I'm thinking the most viable
option for setting up a Pi0w without sighted assistance might be to
use a Pi 3 to configure Wi-Fi and a bluetooth speaker and hope your
configurations survive the microSD being swapped to the Pi0w.
