Dave, As far as I know I don´t have a student version of Sibelius. I looked the code up in the registration info and I don´t see any hint that it could be a student version. The reason why I don´t recognize my license as student version or not is complicated. A year and a half ago I bought Sibelius 3 for the pricing of the Sibelius 5 version they sold at this time and Sibelius Speaking. And now, when I found the Sibelius Access software and wished to upgrade Sibelius , I didn´t need to pay for it anymore, I just received the code and a DVD with full version and code. I deleted Sibelius 3 and installed the full version of Sibelius 5.2.5. How can I find out, if it is a student version? And you're not running a demo version of Sibelius, are you?Or a student version? Sib-Access won't work with anything but a full version, and you did say version 5.2.5, so I'm still a bit stumped. I'll have to see what my setup looks like in my copy. I'm also running JAWS 9.0. If you use the Alt+Ctrl+0 keystroke on your desktop, does any other application run? If not, then you are okay on that. There is no other function I can get with the command. 2. A U.S. keyboard is perfectly fine. 3. Are you running on a laptop or a desktop? Desktop. 4. Are you running with the desktop layout on the keyboard? Jaws says I am running with desktop layout. 5. What version of JAWS are you using? 9.0. 6. Exactly where did you copy your sib-access script files -- what folder, including the entire path starting with C:\ I copies the content of the folder "Sibelius software" to C:\documents and settings\username\application data\ The Jaws folder I copied and pasted it by going into the start menu, all programs; JAWS 9.0, explore; explore my settings. Apart from the files I pasted there are three other folders in there. One of them is "personalized". A few days ago I pasted the JAWS folder in that "Personalized" thing. But that did not work at all. So I deleted it from there and pasted it again as I said before. After the pasting I did the registering again. Regards, Beccy.
