Sorry. Yes, I save as a version 5 score. And, it is Access that doesn't speak, even though the file opens normally. -----Original Message----- From: sib-access-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:sib-access-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Kevin Gibbs Sent: Thursday, July 23, 2009 10:47 AM To: sib-access@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [[SPAM]] - [sib-access] Re: Off Topic: Problem Sibelius 6 Exporting to 5 - Email found in subject Do you save it as a version 5 score? When you say "inaccessible," do you mean that Access won't speak, or that the file won't open in Sib 5? Be ware that, according to my experience, exporting a score adjusted with magnetic layout back to version 5 seems to render that score inaccessible, even with version 5. Of course I don't know which, if any, of the benefits of the magnetic layout are retained, but apparently we cannot currently edit a score once it has been processed in 6. This is not a criticism, but merely an observation.
