Sorry. Yes, I save as a version 5 score. And, it is Access that doesn't
speak, even though the file opens normally.

Do you save it as a version 5 score?  When you say "inaccessible," do
you mean that Access won't speak, or that the file won't open in Sib 5?

I fully realize that Sibelius 6 is not currently supported by Access. Be
ware that, according to my experience, exporting a score adjusted with
magnetic layout back to version 5 seems to render that score
inaccessible, even with version 5. Of course I don't know which, if any,
of the benefits of the magnetic layout are retained, but apparently we
cannot currently edit a score once it has been processed in 6. This is
not a criticism, but merely an observation.
