Hello everyone,
Sorry I've been off the radar but things have been pretty hectic, in a
wonderful way! In May, I enjoyed a whirlwind week in Italy where I had
the honour of singing with members of The Pavarotti Voices Foundation.
I have to say that singing with large orchestras, performing for
Pavarotti's wife and appearing on television again was simply amazing?
Anyway, I didn't have long to calm down from all of that because my
radio programme, The Insight Music Box on Insight Radio, won a
Finalist award at The New York Festivals. (The New York Festivals
Radio Programs and Promos Awards), on Monday night. This brings me to
why I'm wittering on and on. I intend to feature visually impaired
performers on the programme in a series across several weeks. If any
visually impaired artist wants to be in it, I would really appreciate
a high quality audio file of a great performance. If you could also
write a sentence or two about why you chose this piece of music, that
would be great. I'm looking for renaissance, Baroque, classical,
romantic, 20th century or crossover material.
