Good morning SOGAGG Teams!
Your team's tee times for this Friday's tournament is as follows:
SOGAGG 1: 0910
SOGAGG 2: 0920
SOGAGG 3: 0930
Thank you for supporting this year’s Sgt Lucas T Pyeatt Memorial Golf
Tournament. Despite these challenging times, we are hopeful that you and your
teams will simply enjoy coming out and experiencing
some of the comradery that we have all missed over these past several months.
Due to county mandates in place, there are going to be some changes to the
tournament format that you will notice to ensure we provide everyone with a
safe playing environment and
a fun and memorable experience. Below is an outline of what you can expect
the day of.
·
Mask must be worn at all times while not on the course playing or eating lunch
·
Current county mandates dictate a minimum distance of 6ft must be maintained at
all times to ensure proper social distancing
·
Hand sanitizer will be available in all common areas and individual hand
sanitizers will be available at check-in
·
Tee times will begin at 0800 and be staggered every 10 minutes vice a shotgun
start
·
All tee times are final
·
Check-in will be at our tent located in the common area by the pro shop and you
will be able to grab your swag and purchase raffle tickets at that time
·
Teams can arrive no more than 1hr prior to scheduled tee time
·
As play unfolds, we will do our best to push teams out earlier if time allows
·
If your team will not be able to make your assigned tee time you are eligible
for a full refund and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you
·
Carts will be available for all players to ride two per cart and DO NOT need to
be from the same household
·
From check-in, you will move to the putting green to practice and from there
you will be taken to your carts to begin your round
·
There will be a longest putt and closest to the hole contests for you to
participate in and winners will be determined on the honor system by filling
out a sheet
located on each contests respective holes
·
Mother Earth Brewing will be on course to grab a cold one
·
After you finish, please bring all scorecards to me
·
You will then go to the snack bar, give your name and get your lunch to eat
with your foursome or you can have them wrap it up to go
·
All tournament and raffle winners will be announced via video within one week
of the tournament’s completion
·
Raffle winners will be drawn from grand prize on down and all tickets will be
eligible for every prize unless chosen for a previously drawn item
·
Foundation staff will coordinate with all winners to deliver items at a date
and time TBD by you
On behalf of the foundation staff, we greatly appreciate everyone’s
understanding as we do our best to provide you all with a safe and fun-filled
day of golf! Your generosity has been crucial
to our ability to continue providing our youth education, active duty,
veteran, and Gold Star Survivor programming. Good luck and may the best team
win!
