Golfers,

  Please review the attached scorecards for pairings at our 21 October golf
outing.  I will update the indexes on the 15th, assuming you have an index.
If not, let me know if the course handicap is not representative of your low
score capability.  If you want to rearrange your pairing, let me know.

  Would you like to play a game in competition with your foursome, or
perhaps the entire group?  Here are the options:

Low Net.  It's not obvious from the scorecards, but individuals are divided
into two flights:  Less Than or Equal to 22.3 Handicap Index; Greater Than
22.3 Handicap Index.  The Low Net from each flight wins.  The prize can be
whatever you want:  Bragging Rights, $1 per player, Having to Buy a Round
after the Round, etc.

Skins.  This is fun and, using handicaps, is balanced.  Well, perhaps it
favors the high handicappers just a bit.  Those wanting to play would kick
in $5.  For each hole, low score amongst those entered would win a skin.
Ties push to the next hole.

Fourball.  This is match play between two teams in each foursome.  Bet what
you want.

Match play.  This is match play between two teams.  Each foursome has a pair
from each team, and they compete hole-by-hole with each other.  The team
with the most wins takes the competition.

Stableford.  Players receive points for net scores on each hole.  The player
with the most points wins.  POINTS: <=Albatross: 4; Eagle: 3; Birdie: 2;
Par: 1; Bogey: 0; > Bogey: -1

3-2-1 CHA CHA CHA.  Each foursome takes the lowest net scores for each hole:
3 scores on the 1st hole; 2 scores on the second hole; 1 score on the third
hole; repeat.

Best 2 of 4.  Each foursome takes the lowest 2 net scores for each hole.

Throw Out One Per Side.  The play is individual stroke.  Low net wins,
except each person throws out the high score on the front and the high score
on the back.
