Charity Golf Tournament June 26th at Oaks North Golf Course

SOGAGG Colleagues,
Oaks North has confirmed the Sergeant Lucas P. Pyeatt charity golf
tournament will be conducted on June 26th. It was originally scheduled for
May 15th (see below).
Registration begins at 0800 and the tournament begins at 0900. Thanks again
to KD for getting us involved to support this cause.
The tournament director indicated that the key to approving the conduct of
the tournament was the County's decision to allow two personnel per cart
without it having to be family members. She stated carts are preferred for
their tournaments in order to keep a steady flow around the course during a
tournament but if a player truly wishes to use a pull cart they would
accommodate that. Swamp, she may have been obliquely referring to you?
Interestingly enough, the tournament director also stated they will be
having food and drinks after the tournament for the participants. Looks
like some sense of normalcy is returning. This should be a great (but
relatively short) outing.
Skully has indicated that with the new date, he is in. This is good news
and if all hands can still play and with Skully sliding into SOGAGG-3, we
just need one more SOGAGGer to round out that group (Bounceback will be
limiting himself to putting). That actually makes for five Society
personnel in SOGAGG-3 with four actual full-time players.
Okay, here's the ask, folks: If you're listed below as having committed to
playing, please confirm so to me as soon as you can.
If you've not signed up to play but given the new date (June 26th) you can
now do so, please advise if you wish to get out and enjoy the day (and each
other).
If we end up with more than 12 players (plus Bounceback) but not enough to
round out a fourth group ("SOGAGG-4"), we can invite some of the many folks
who have played with us before as guests and who admire us from afar.
