Below is the latest player listing for our 8 Nov 2019 Steele Canyon
outing, tee times 0812, 0821, 0830 and 0839, I assume Canyon/Ranch. We have
an additional three maybes. Axe is out due to scheduled hand surgery on 31
October. The quite capable and very nice Susan Wellersdieck will fill the
gap.
If you are considering inviting a guest, please let them know you can give
them a firm commitment as we hear a "yes" or "no" from our "maybe" members.
Gar and I have settled on the game for this event. Everyone will play
Individual Stroke Play, and at the same time we will play a game that seems
quite appropriate for SOGAGG (and the only way any of us will get such a
terrifically low score) as follows:
2 3's + 2 5's + 5 4's. This game follows the rules of individual stroke
play but adjusts each player's net total strokes by selecting the lowest 2
scores on par 3's, the lowest two scores on par 5's, and the lowest 5 scores
on par 4's, then subtracting one-half of the player's course handicap. The
fewest resulting net total strokes determine the winner and other standings.

As some of you know, one can purchase a course player guide at the pro
shop, or one can just take their breakfast placement with the same
information. I have attached a .pdf of the placemat for you to use as a
course guide.
