SOGAGG Colleagues, Robert and Brian,
I and my SOGAGG-2 team mates are humbled to have earned this prestigious award
(please see picture attached). It is a testament to the dedication, focus and
collective golfing ingenuity displayed by the intrepid cohort of Docente Ocho,
Woods, Swamp and, if I may say so, myself and we could not be prouder. Of
course, we also were very sensitive to our wonderful Society and ensured we
mentioned the organization during the press conference with NBC7 and the U-T.
As much as it would have been fitting to have all four of us shown behind our
trophies, my elite mates were in the middle of an autograph signing session and
I was elected to stand in for them during the photo shoot. That, and my
reputation for poor penmanship eliminated me from signing anything anyway…
Woods, Swamp and Docho have indicated we should consider holding an open-house
for a viewing of the trophies and of course to answer any questions considering
golf tips you may wish to receive. We’ll advise later on that. We’ve already
agreed the admission price will be less for SOGAGG than the general public.
