Dear SOGAGG,I cringe writing this email as I know how excited that Ace was
having all GAGGers present and accounted whether playing or on the recovery
list.  With regrets, I can no longer make it.  The following week is the week
before Spring Break and I have exams in all of my classes.  Fridays are a
favorite day for students to get assistance and if I was not around it could be
a mark on my tenure process.

On the bright side, this will make it easier with 2 foursomes.
Ace- I very much appreciated the call.  As you remember on the phone I was
hesitant, but you were too great of a salesman.
Hope to get out sooner vs later.

being able to participate, even while on the Binnacle List, really makes for a
special day.  As a matter of fact, for the first time in memory we will have
all of our members together with exception of our dear friend and colleague Chi
Chi, who without a doubt will be with us in spirit and our newest member Barry
who is recovering at home from his stroke and whom we hope to have in our
playing ranks soon.  I have had Barry’s shirt made up and will transfer it to
Knockdown soon, who will surprise Barry (and truly raise his spirits) with his
induction into SOGAGG.For all hands, prepare yourself for some adventurous
stories from our comrade Old Slice who just got back from a protracted canal
and ocean cruise/Costa Rica trip.  Marco Polo was a piker compared to our

process of setting up a venue for our March outing and I’m currently targeting
Mission Trails for this month - specifically Friday, March 11.  It’s a fairly
central location and I’m looking to get tee times starting somewhere between
the 0730 and 0800 time frame with a bias towards 0730 if possible.  This way we
can enjoy a great morning, finish up around “noonish” and still have the
afternoon (and weekend) to pursue other endeavors (or just kick back).Having

OB·         Skully·         Kockdown (awaiting confirmation)·         AceTrek,
would you be able to join in and make it a Royal Flush?  That would be pretty
amazing.Speaking of warriors, AXE and Rules, both of whom are on the Wounded in
Action list, have indicated they might be able to join us for the post-outing
gathering around a cold pitcher(s) of fermented libation which would be even
