I’m late to the show but so impressed nonetheless. WOXOF, the New York Times
just called. Apparently there is some kind of significant award for reporting
that they would wish to discuss with you. They read your offering here on
Brassie and decided you’re the man they need to write an expose’ story on the
shenanigans that take place on the annual trip to Hilton Head taken by Brassie,
KD and Woods. All (reasonable) expenses paid, including bodyguards…
Brassie, congratulations on the great win. I saw your response and it was too
good. We now have a new term, to wit: “Celebrity SOGAGGer.” :):)
Question for the Society: If a SOGAGGer wins a tournament as a member of a
private group, does he still have to purchase a SOGAGG round…??
Cheers,
/Ace

Subject: [sogagg] Mr. (Sir) Casey Tanaka SOGAGG Golf Superstar
Esteemed SOGAGGERS, I was recently scanning the Coronado Eagle Newspaper,
reading, as I do, about famous local politicians, such as Mr. (Sir) Casey
Tanaka, a recent landslide winner of a Coronado City Council Seat. (Casey
astoundingly fielded nearly as many votes in a 4 way race as the Coronado City
Mayor did running opposed, but I digress).
Even more astounding and impressive than that win was what caught my eye in the
Feature Article (see enclosed above) about The First Coronado Crown Classic
Golf Tournament and Fundraiser … but none other than a front page, nearly full
size photo of Mr. (Sir) Casey Tanaka, known to all of us as simply Brassie.
Brassie was not only the winner in the Coronado City Council election but had
now just won the inaugural Coronado Crown Classic Golf Tournament. Sure, there
were 3 other golfers on his team, but we really know who carried the team to
the win and of course, he is pictured making the final winning putt on the 18th
hole. (don't you think the pants are a little high water .. but I guess that's
the new style over the bridge among the elite golfers of Coronado). Is there no
limit to this man's talent and how lucky indeed are we to have him as a member
of SOGAGG ?
Bottom line, another SOGAGGER does good (BZ to David R (Bagger) on his upcoming
Thurs Change of Command in PMW 750), with Brassie raising funds for a worthy
Foundation, giving liberal quotations to the Coronado Eagle reporter and again,
collecting more Golf Crystal for his no doubt, growing Tanaka Golf Trophy Case.
I'm trying to sign up for golf lessons with him but so far, he says he is way
too busy, mostly with endless autographs.
