Yes, this….!
This great article omitted only one important item, to wit: Using an example
of safety as the ultimate reason why golf is so important to our well-being in
this COVID-19 environment - and that would be that players like me are mostly
far removed from the other members of our foursome while shloging through the
kaka looking for my errant ball plus I’m normally 20-35 feet from the flagstick
when putting while others are at least 15 feet closer.
Yours for retaining a ridiculous distance from others, I remain,

Stupidity is depressing. Excessive Stupidity is really depressing.
My personal plan to self-isolate and keep my social distance (more than my
introverted self's normal distance) is supported by the below very well
researched article. You can hang your SOGAGG (Blue or Red) Hat on that for
sure. WOXOF

Good Wednesday morning. It’s Day 2 of the U.K. coronavirus lockdown.
RATIONING RETURNS: Britain’s third-largest supermarket chain Sainsbury’s is now
rationing all goods in its stores to prevent panic buyers clearing the shelves.
In a message to customers early this morning, Sainsbury’s boss Mike Coupe said
shoppers will be able to buy a maximum of three of any single grocery product
from now on, and a maximum of two of the most popular items including toilet
paper, soap and UHT milk. “We have enough food coming into the system,” he
said. “[We] are limiting sales so it stays on shelves for longer and can be
bought by a larger numbers of customers.”
And there’s more: Sainsbury’s is also introducing a “silver hour” at the start
of each day for older customers to shop, and an expanded “click and collect”
service to allow self-isolating customers and others who cannot get a delivery
slot to order online and then collect their pre-packed shopping from the car
park. Expect much more of this from other large stores in the days to come.

DRIVING THE DAY
A LONG TIME IN POLITICS: Boris Johnson is preparing for prime minister’s
questions this morning in a world barely recognizable from just one week ago.
This time last Wednesday morning Chancellor Rishi Sunak was putting the
finishing touches to a revamped budget which included a “timely and targeted”
£12 billion package to help Britain deal with the coronavirus outbreak. Fast
forward seven days and Britain is waking up to the news that Sunak is now
prepared to prop up every ailing business in the country with tax breaks, cash
grants and almost unlimited taxpayer-backed loans totaling at least £330
billion<https://politico.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=e26c1a1c392386a968d02fdbc&id=3f8363b507&e=7b09b4c3e3>
— with much more to come in the days ahead.
How today pans out: Discussion of Sunak’s bailout is likely to dominate much of
