Birdie,
In honor of what can't yet be thirty, I offer a Birthday Blessing
("adapted".., i.e. "stolen without permission and then changed ever so
slightly"..), from a poem by Daniel Mark Extrom):
May morning's scent be green and sweet, when you answer ancient call,
May your grip be gentle and firm, and your eyes stay on the ball.
May all your drives find fairways, and may they fly so purty,
And may irons find a place to land that helps you make that birdie.
May your wedges float high and gently drop,
May your chips caress the slope.
And may your putts locate that perfect break, to always bring you hope.

SOGAGG Colleagues,
These are challenging times and as a result many folks are feeling both
anxiety and frustration. The majority of society is in search of that one
ray of light that can brighten their day, give them hope and lift them up,
even should it be but for a fleeting moment.
We, SOGAGG, have exactly that - and it's available to us for an entire day
(or maybe the full weekend).
It's Birdie. Our Birdie. She's celebrating her birthday today and all the
fears and worries of the world are hereby laid aside while we send along out
best wishes and congratulations on her special day.
Birdie, on a personal note: You are one of many, many people that I've
never beaten at golf and I know I will never beat at golf but you're the
only one I don't hold it against into perpetuity. J
