You nailed it perfectly Shaft - a fantastic SOGAGG day and how great was it
that all day long all of those people thought our shirts (and the SOGAGG
story) was so interesting?
I'm not sure I've ever had so many Jello Shots (I lost count),
booze-drenched cherries, tequila shots, a half dozen types of beers and
margaritas all in one round of golf before. And then there was the basket
of chips with salsa plus the chocolate chip cookies. Thank gawd there were
only 18 holes. And then came the awards dinner buffet...
A wonderful outing for a wonderful cause with wonderful playing mates.
I slept like a puppy....

a worthy cause. What a tournament with just about every hole having some
give away or game, what a great bunch of volunteers. Shooting that air
cannon was a blast, literally, a nearly effortless way of getting the ball
from tee to green. The only challenging part was negotiating consuming a
moonshine saturated cherry or two for some in our foursome, while shooting
the cannon. The Amber Ale from Mission Brewing was very tasty as well.
Excellent job of SOGAGG hole sponsorship, on back to back holes on 16 and
17. Bagger, Ace - when you get a chance, sure would like to see what
pictures you got from the day, see if they match my memory.
For those that couldn't make it this year, I would certainly make this
tournament one that you circle and make, this is the second year of the
tournament and it keeps getting better. The kids that benefit from our
attendance are truly wonderful.
Bagger - thanks for setting up our attendance for the tournament, as the
newest Society member, you were ordered by the kangaroo court to set up the
outing and you came through with flying colors.
I have the honor of setting up an outing in October, be on the look out for
the invite, later this weekend.

three can pay me at Salt Creek next Friday.
I will need one of you to check us in - I have to go into the office next
Friday and won't be arriving at Salt Creek until about 1130.
Food for thought: this charity event is a qualifier for the Randy Jones
Invitational, if we place in the top three teams. Not sure if this would
motivate ourselves beyond a regular SOGAGG outing by getting in a little
extra practice prior to next Friday? Stranger things have happened,
especially in SOGAGG...
