Fellow SOGAGGites,
We've heard from all but a few SOGAGGers re: the proposed 15 May USMC
tournament. (The others are undoubtedly part of the team still counting
ballots in Iowa...).
Have put together a "PRELIMINARY DRAFT" teams roster - which is subject to
change, admonishment, retribution, and challenge... You'll note however,
that there is a designated "Team Captain" for each 4-some. Once all the
(Yes/No/Maybe) returns are in, I would like to then finalize the teams. If
there are comments, recommendations, and other requests regarding the teams,
please write them on a $100 bill, and send this to my home address.
A couple of notes (in no particular order):
. Once the teams have been finalized, I will ask each Team Captain
to register online for their team, and make whatever arrangements are
appropriate regarding payment.
. In honor of our USMC brethren, Green shirts and Red SOGAGG hats
will be the uniform of the day.
. "Team names", while not mandatory, would be fun, and are requested
to be forwarded to me at the time of registration. These names will be
graded using criteria that only I know (and haven't yet decided..).
. Only 1 member of each 4-some is expected to get a "high 'n tight"
haircut before the event. This requirement may be waived with a separate
payment of cash to the organizer (e.g. yours truly) or if sufficient hair
loss has already been observed and/or documented as to validate this
requirement.
. Insurance, bail money, indemnity waivers, bribes, trickery, etc..
are to be handled separately by each individual team.
. It is requested that all tweets related to SOGAGG's involvement in
this tournament, (or on any other related subject) be handled discretely.
If tweets are sent to the White House, please use a "throw away" phone.
Media interest (at this time) is expected to be limited...
. Temporary removal of court-ordered GPS ankle tracking devices is
authorized from 0800 to 1500 on the day of the tournament.
That's all I can think of for right now. Will be in touch as we get the
final head count completed.
