Greetings,
As we celebrated the actual 100th birthday day of TOS on Oct. 7, 2015,
we reveled in the successful year, and look forward to what the future may
bring. Steve Routledge reported on the Wednesday Walk at Radnor Lake, the
first event of the day. (See Oct 7 post). Several of us then visited the
downtown Nashville Public Library at 7th and Church St. The posters about
the history and projects of TOS over the last century will be on display
there until December 8th. The librarians chose books about birds to display
along with our information. The display is located on the third floor, near
non-fiction. We then walked to Union St. where the TOS historical marker,
erected in1992, is displayed between 4th and 5th avenues. We spent the lunch
hour thinking back on the year and the century, looking forward to our next
birding adventures.
