Recently, Jim Eager posted the announcement of this joint field trip. Here is
some info for those who will be coming from the Knoxville area.

Saturday, August 27
Field trip to Kingston Steam Plant, Roane County in east Tennessee
4:45 p.m. departure from the Stokley Building parking lot at
320 North Cedar Bluff Road in west Knoxville
KTOS Leader: David Trently; dtrently@xxxxxxx; home 531-1473; work 974-8664
We will meet members of the Chattanooga TOS chapter around 5:30 at the area of
the ball fields.
This is a good time of year for shorebirds, terns and maybe a few songbirds,
swallows and ducks.
If it's hot, be sure to bring water to carry with you. Spotting scopes are
recommended.

Thanks! Hope to see a lot of birders there.

David Trently,
Knoxville, TN
