South Holston Weir Dams, Sullivan Co., TN, 6:45 AM
     On the first side road just past the Weir Dam parking lot I heard an 
air-borne woodcock, then one landed 10 yards behind me on the pavement and 
peented so loudly I jumped!

Intersection of Cherokee Rd. and Cecil Gray Rd., Washington Co., TN, 6:45 PM
     I checked out the wet field here at sundown and heard then saw one 
displaying woodcock.
