Bark Camp Barrens/Sod Farm
Coffee Co., TN
Decided a morning of birding with a head cold better than sitting around
the house. Drove back to the Sod farm to see if the Upland sandpipers were
still present.
8:25 AM
2 Upland Sandpipers
10 Horned Larks
5 Am, Crow
8 Wild Turkeys
2 Whitetail Deer
They were mowing the fields this morning. Looked like they had mowed
field where Uppies are being seen. High grass patches were not present this
morning.
Also saw a flock of about 15 Cattle Egrets along Ragsdale Rd between State
55 and Hickerson Rd.

MTSU Ponds
Murfreesboro, TN
Rutherford Co.
Decided to drive by the MTSU ponds on the way home to see if the water
level had receded.

1 Spotted Sandpiper, 150th species I have seen in Rutherford Co. this
year. Didn't think I was going to get this one.

2 Least Sandpipers
53 Canada Geese
A whole bunch of Mallards. Did not count hard to tell wild from mixed up.
